Okay folks...There have been some updates and new features added to our ATF Media Hub. If you look above you'll see the what the embedded audio player looks like. Now you can copy and paste this same player for all your audio uploads from the site. You can do the same for photos and video.

You know how one day you are a care free bachelor, buying up all the rare Surf MC's records and that original pressing of James Brown's Funky Drummer, then the next your whole life is changed and you are like "Whoa!" or "D'oh"?

Yeah so that's me. Like Mentos & Keith Boogs (and many other before me), I have now entered that rarified air of fatherhood. I told myself over the course of a few months that it'd be cool to have a kid around the house to teach proper hip hop techniques and history (among other things like math and vocabulary, etc) to. It'd also be fun to watch her grow into a hopefully well rounded woman who will make a difference in this world. But after she was born, a word hit me. The dreaded "R" word. And no, I'm not referring to Rakim's 18th Letter debacle.

I am of course referring to responsibility. Zak and Keith both mentioned how once you have a child, your whole perspective changes. That third eye opens if you will. I can say that it has indeed opened up wide. Not only do I see what the responsibilities are, I embody them. Now I'm not preaching from the pulpit on this one but I can honestly say that the tasks ahead for me and my wife are well defined and those goals are attainable. All parents want better for their children and they want their children to be exposed to the right things. The question is what are the right things. I'm confident with the help of our family and friends and the Most High, we'll give her all the right stuff she needs.

On some other stuff, FSU is terrible this year. Now I'm not a fair-weather fan by any means, and I still watch all the games, buy the gear and spend waaaay to much time on Warchant.com, but for the remainder of the season I'm gonna be rooting for another team as well. And that lucky team?

The University of Arkansas at Monticello

The Boll Weevils currently stand at 1-7 but with a little of that Brother B mojo sent thier way, hopefully they'll get it going this weekend vs. Valdosta State. Goooooo Weevils!
