Yeah, So It's Been A While...

One of these days I'll figure out how to post from remote and otherwise "un-Internetted" locations. I wasn't in the woods like my homegirl Raissa or nothing but with everything going on (more later) and the deadline approaching, ATF had to take a serious VCR pause to get stuff straight.

But we are back for a limited run from yours truely so let's get in it to win it.

Alright so over the past month or so I've been busy as the lone hooker on 14th ave. in DC trying to do the following:

1. Finish school
a. This includes papers, projects, and a bama ass CLEP class to make up for some clerical error
2. Sell my condo
a. Signed a contract on it last week and once I fix the shower knob, I'm in the clear.
3. Memorize the Defensive Playbook
a. I've been cramming like I was taking the SATs with this thing. Coach don't take too kindly
to slackers 4. Finish the Bash Brothers LP
a. Joint has been mixed and sent to mastering....

So basically all I have to do before the 14th of July is pack my shit up, finish all the projects and papers due, get deep inside the playbook some more, and try not to forget anything. Yeah. But it'll get done and I'll be mozying (sp?) on down to Greensboro on the 17th of July. Big thangs in store.

On a music front, I've been downloading and getting emails with some of the new stuff that has dropped on the independent scene. Some good, most of it has been sub par. Most of the good stuff has been remixes and blends from 9th Wonder, DJ Ayers, and others. I've posted one of the better 9th remixes above. Speaking of 9th and The League, their new album "The Mintsrel Show" should be dropping soon. I for one can't wait to hear it.

Side Question: Is the Justus League the new Wu? They seem to have more family members in their clique than Radio Radi has kids, which is a lot.

I'm also looking forward to the Buckshot/9th side project, my final project ever in school, the start of football camp, and FSU vs. Da U on Sept. 5th.

2. Big Ups to TiVo for becoming one with the MPC
3. Big Ups to Carrie & Kate for the Bar-B-Q last weekend. Joint was crazy cool. Hope the mix CD
was cool with yawl
4. Congrats to Letroy Guion for getting his ass qualified and admitted to FSU, we gonna need you this year kid.
